A JURY AWARDED $20,000,000 TO A SOLDIER AGAINST A FINANCIAL GIANT
The Financial Industry decimated retirements, city, county and state governments and the construction industry. Then it got bailed out by tax dollars. Perhaps what it has done is coming back to roost in its own barnyard. I look for quick legislation to protect its interests against everyday people while at the same time legislation to allow it a greater stranglehold on family budgets. This by the way is not a partisan phenomenon. Both parties have Financial Industry Cronies to insure tort reform happens and it gets protection from legal action(s)

The beat goes on: apparently the US Chamber of Commerce has no problem with the slew of business litigation "costing businesses billions". It is only when a lowly citizen wants a remedy against a business that the USCofC cries fowl.
